Quote requests get a call back in about 15 minutes during business hours.

Most Odessa renters need a standard porta potty. It suits jobsites, remodels and backyard parties. Choose a deluxe flushing unit or a restroom trailer for weddings and dressy events. Add a wheelchair-accessible unit for public events, and add a hand-wash station whenever food is served.

The five unit types differ in flushing, hand washing, wheelchair access and site needs. A standard unit needs no water or power and fits a 48-inch gate. A restroom trailer needs level ground, a 110-volt outlet and a water hose. The table shows the trade-offs before you call.
| Unit | Best for | Flushing | Hand washing | Wheelchair access | Water / power | Space | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard porta potty | Jobsites, parties, remodels | No (holding tank) | Hand sanitizer | No (24 in door) | None | About 4 × 4 ft | Basic look; not for dressy events |
| Deluxe flushing unit | Weddings, showers, nicer parties | Yes, foot pump | Sink inside | No | None (own tank) | About 4 × 4 ft | Fewer uses per tank than a standard unit |
| Wheelchair-accessible unit | Public events, guests with mobility needs | No | Hand sanitizer | Yes, ground-level floor | None | About 5.2 × 5.2 ft + ramp-free approach | Needs a level, firm pad and a wide path |
| Hand-wash station | Food service, crews | — | 2 or 4 foot-pump sinks | Reachable from a seat on most models | None (own tank) | About 2 × 2 ft | Not a toilet; pair with units |
| Restroom trailer | Weddings, galas, offices | Yes, real toilets | Sinks, mirrors | Steps; not wheelchair-accessible | 110 V outlet + water hose | Driveway or lot, 20–30 ft long | Needs level ground, water and power |
Sizes come from the manufacturer spec sheets on each unit page. A restroom trailer is the wrong choice for a dirt pad with no power, so pick a deluxe unit instead.

Servicing
A rented jobsite porta potty is cleaned once a week, and the visit is included in the 28-day rate. The technician pumps the tank, scrubs and sanitizes the inside, adds fresh deodorizer, restocks paper and sanitizer, and logs the visit. Event units arrive clean and stocked, and most short events need no visit.
Odessa heat changes the schedule. The July average high is 94°F, and summer days often pass 100°F. Sites with more than 10 workers per unit should add a second weekly visit in summer. Source: NOAA 1991–2020 normals via NWS Midland.

Five things set the full cost of a porta potty rental in Odessa: your location, the unit type, your dates, the servicing you need and how many units you rent. An itemized quote lists each one with delivery and pickup, any rush fee and sales tax. Nothing is added at checkout.
| Price factor | What changes it | How to save |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Drive distance from 502 E 2nd St and site access | Group units on one address so one trip covers them |
| Unit type | Standard, deluxe flushing, wheelchair-accessible, sink or trailer | Use a standard unit + sink instead of a trailer on dirt sites |
| Dates | Event rate (up to 7 days) or 28-day jobsite cycle; same-day rush | Book by noon the day before to skip the rush fee |
| Servicing | Weekly service is included on jobsites; extra visits cost more | Right-size units to 10 workers each |
| Quantity | Each unit rents separately; one delivery trip per order | Orders of 3+ units share one delivery |

Sizing
Plan 1 standard porta potty per 50 guests for an event of up to 4 hours. A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 5 units: 150 ÷ 40 rounds up to 4, then add 1 for alcohol. Construction crews need at least 1 toilet per 20 workers under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51.
| Guests | 4 hrs | 4–8 hrs | + bar |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| 100 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
| 150 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
| 250 | 5 | 7 | 9 |
Four sets of rules can apply to a porta potty in Odessa. OSHA sets toilet counts for jobsites. The 2010 ADA Standards require 5% accessible units at public events. The City of Odessa requires a special event permit 21 days ahead. Units in a street need a right-of-way permit.
| Situation | Rule | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Construction crew | OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c), Table D-1 | 20 or fewer workers: 1 toilet. Over 20: 1 seat + 1 urinal per 40 workers. |
| Farm field work | OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110 | 1 toilet + 1 hand-wash facility per 20 workers within a ¼-mile walk. |
| Public event | 2010 ADA Standards §213.2 | At least 5% of units in each cluster must be accessible. |
| Event on city property or streets | City of Odessa special event permit | File 21 days ahead; $25 fee; sketch must show restroom spots. |
| Unit in a street or sidewalk | City of Odessa Public Works permits | Right-of-way or street-use permit needed. |
| Waste hauling | TCEQ sludge transporter registration | Haulers of chemical toilet waste must register with TCEQ. We are responsible for this, not you. |
This is general information, not legal advice. Confirm your exact requirement with your permit office, venue or safety officer. The legal minimum is a floor; our sizing advice adds units so lines stay short.
We deliver porta potties to every Odessa ZIP code: 79761, 79762, 79763, 79764, 79765 and 79766. That covers downtown, the new-build communities in northeast and north Odessa, the UTPB and Odessa College areas, and West Odessa. Same-day delivery reaches all of them when you call by noon.
Neighborhood names from Homes.com, Redfin and builder community listings. New homes in Homestead at Parks Bell Ranch, Deer Meadows and Windmill Crossing (ZIP 79765) and Yukon Ridge (ZIP 79762) often need a crew unit during construction.
Heat, wind and remote sites change porta potty rentals in Odessa more than anything else. July highs average 94°F, spring gusts can top 60 mph, and many oilfield pads have no street address. Each condition changes servicing, placement or delivery planning.
| Local fact | Source | What we do about it |
|---|---|---|
| July average high 94°F; record 113°F | NOAA 1991–2020 normals | Extra deodorizer; add a mid-week visit for busy summer sites; shade placement when possible |
| Rain averages about 12 inches a year | NOAA normals for Odessa | Dust, not mud, is the usual problem; we wipe vents and door seals at each visit |
| Gusts of 63 mph recorded at Midland in March 2019 | NWS Midland | Stake or strap units at open lots; doors face away from the wind |
| −2°F on Feb 15, 2021 at Midland | NWS Midland | Winter brine in tanks during hard freezes; heated sinks on request |
| Permian Basin made about 48% of U.S. crude in 2025 | U.S. EIA | Lease-road and pad deliveries by GPS pin; units with lifting hooks for crane picks |
